I'm after some information please, i am a novise at MX, i have a KTM 380 2 stroke trail bike, what i would like to know is can the track be used at anytime or is it only on race days, could someone please advise and reply.

hi Dan , yep $15 per rider into box & the track is open all the time, unless otherwise posted in home & news section on hairy hills web site.
the track changers from time to time with sheep grazing different sections sometimes.
for up to date track info just give us a bell.

Hi, I'm looking for somewhere to practice adventure riding skills but public fields/hills/tracks are hard to find in Wellington. Is hairy hills suitable for this, if so is it free one friday morning so I can come over and take a look. Happy to pay a usage fee, I just need open space to practice some techniques ready for a south island trip this year.
